I am sorry to share the news that Dave Arneson has passed away.  I know he will be missed by all of us.  Dave was a great guy and like many others I really enjoyed sharing a few games with him.  My sincerest sympathies to his family and friends.  Dave was a true gentleman.

Battlefront acquires both Gale Force 9 (story on TMP) and Wargames Illustrated (story on FlamesofWar.com)  Battlefront appears to be making bold moves toward expandinging thier market and the hobby of historical wargaming.  I look forward to seeing the new Wargames Illusted in the expanded format.  Lets hope thier efforts to promote the hobby are succesful.

Topps announced that WizKids Games will cease operations immediatly.  To read more, this is the link to the announcement from Topps on the  Wizkids site.
